Inaugural Ride will help Foodbank feed thousands

It was hot. It was tough. But the founding riders in our inaugural Hunger Ride conquered the challenge in style on 3 March, 2018!

The 21 riders departed from Beechworth, completing the gruelling 170+ kilometre course as temperatures peaked at 34 degrees. When the finish line finally appeared, more than $60,000 had been raised to help feed vulnerable Victorian kids and their families.

An enourmous thanks to all the riders and their supporters from Teams Skybus, Peters Ice Cream, Port of Melbourne, Danone YoPro, Prestige Foods/CT Freight, Foodbank Victoria, delivery partner Cycling Victoria, Ambassador Baden Cooke, and all our other event partners for their support.

We can’t wait to do it all again in 2019! Check out the video and photo gallery below and stay tuned for details of next year’s ride.
