The Hunger Ride 2020

In a year that was very challenging for Victoria, the Hunger Ride was lucky enough to be able to go ahead for the third time. With our major sponsor Montague CROC EGGS™ the 2020 Hunger Ride exceeded its fundraising target of $100,000 and raised an outstanding $126,000 to provide over 252,000 meals to Victorians in need.

The Hunger Ride 2020 event was one to remember with the heat reaching a high of 40 degrees. We also had a couple of familiar faces joining the event including Hamish Blake, Max Gawn & Matt Keenan.

Foodbank Victoria Team 2.0

Foodbank Victoria has been helping to feed Victorians in need for 90 years. With 1 in 5 Australians struggling to put food on the table, we are here to provide food assistance to those doing it tough. Through our 533 charity partners across the state, we’re able to provide 1.2 million meals to Victorian kids and their families every month. Foodbank Victoria Team {2.0} consists of a number of familiar faces who are committed to breaking the cycle of hunger.

Foodbank Victoria

Whether it’s everyday emergencies or in times of crisis, Foodbank Victoria has been providing vital food relief to vulnerable Victorians for more than 90 years. Through our network of 551 charity partners across the State, we’re able to provide 1.3 million meals a month to Victorian kids and their families.

West Gate Tunnel Project

The West Gate Tunnel Project will deliver a vital alternative to the West Gate Bridge by providing a second river crossing. The project is a partnership between the Victorian Government and Transurban and is being built by construction contractors CPB Contractors and John Holland. The West Gate Tunnel Project is proud to be supporting Foodbank Victoria through the 2020 Hunger Ride event.

Peters Ice Cream

For more than a century, Australians have been enjoying the great taste of Peters Ice Cream. Port of Melbourne

The Port of Melbourne is Australasia’s largest maritime hub for containerised, automotive and general cargo. It is a key economic asset for businesses and people across Victoria and south-eastern Australia. With Foodbank Victoria’s main distribution centre located within the Port of Melbourne, the organisation is a major supporter of Foodbank’s work. With the 2018 and 2019 Hunger Rides already under their belt, Team Port of Melbourne is gearing up to hit the road again in 2020.
