The Hunger Ride 2020

Ever wanted to feel like a professional in the pro peloton? The Hunger Ride is an exclusive corporate cycling challenge through 172kms of Victoria’s most beautiful and difficult cycling terrain While the terrain might be challenging, every kilometre will help raise much-needed funds to provide vulnerable children and their families with emergency food relief.

Foodbank Victoria is the state’s leading food relief organisation with almost 90 years’ experience providing relief to struggling Victorians. With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing food insecurity, we are here to provide food assistance to those who need it most. Each month, we assist over 100,000 Victorians – almost a third of them are children. Foodbank Victoria team 2.0 consists of a number of familiar faces who are committed to fighting hunger.

    West Gate Tunnel Project

    The West Gate Tunnel Project will deliver a vital alternative to the West Gate Bridge by providing a second river crossing. The project is a partnership between the Victorian Government and Transurban and is being built by construction contractors CPB Contractors and John Holland. The West Gate Tunnel Project is proud to be supporting Foodbank Victoria through the 2020 Hunger Ride event.

As a longtime supporter and partner of Foodbank Victoria, Peters Ice Cream participated in the inaugural Hunger Ride in 2018, again in 2019!
